Grounded, is a collaborative art project for three artists. We are exploring individually and collaboratively our response to place, time and other connections. Three sites around Canberra have been selected as the focus of the research for art making. Through drawing and sculpture, small and large scale works will reveal the fragile beauty and lingering memories of place. The project is 18 months in duration and the results will be the basis of the exhibition Grounded at Belconnen Arts Centre, Canberra opening 6 December 2024.
